Some Chromebooks can not log in

At our school we use Fusion 360 on Chromebooks and it is awesome!   However, lately about half the students, when they log in, their Chromebook will spin at 100% and Fusion will not open.  The other half can open and work on Fusion.  Our tech guys are not sure why it works on some and not on others. Anyone have this issue?

Are the same students having this issue or is it random?


Has you r IT Admin reviewed the Online - Browser access to Fusion 360 FAQ? This article lists the domains that need to be allowed.


Clear the cache and update the video drivers. Here are links for how to clear the cache and update drivers .

  1. Ensure you're running the latest version of Chrome
  2. Clear the cache on a Chromebook 
  3. Update graphics and system drivers on a Chromebook

Also, try starting Fusion online from an Incognito window.

  1. Start your Chrome browser
  2. Create a new Incognito window
  3. Go to https://fusion.online.autodesk.com and log in with your education account.

I'll also ask the development team for their ideas.
