CAM Parallel surface extention path

Hey guys,

I have issues with the 3D CAM operation parallel. I got this surface from a knife that is beeing milled with this operation. Picture 1 shows the actual tool path from the finsihing path with a fine step over. The path itself is fine but I would like to extend the tool path in both directions a few mm (shown in picture 3 red arrows). I know that there is the option "extention" (picture 2) but when I select it, I got the problem shown in picture 3. I just want that the actual tool path is beeing extented, not changing the diraction.

Is there a solution to my problem?

@k.jannik I would do this with an offset surface

1. Make a offset surface

2. Stretching surface

3 Create a setup for this area
