you make a spline smooth to a 3D include edge

adjusting the other sketch will make the smooth constraint spline not follow

this only works when: 1. coincident + 2. smooth constraint

makes no sense because smooth constraint has coincident as a requirement so why not include it by default

meaning smooth constraint includes the code for coincident.

Hi Claas, I know for one thing there is an issue of exactly what your image is showing, where the spline endpoint handle gets dislocated from the actual spline when another sketch, construction plane etc. is modified to move the desired spline endpoint.  The solution is to activate that endpoint tangent or curvature handle (activating the latter will automatically activate the former).  In your image I can see the tangent handle is not activated, being green instead of blue.  Give that a try and see if that fixes it!

I don't know if this is a bug or not intended to work this way. But I would say this is a bug to me.

May besomebody from AD could join here. Today in a Fusion presentation to a client this happened which was quite embarassing for being parametric.

It appears to be a bug.  Another way to get the endpoint to update is to actually go into the sketch and adjust any of the tangent handles manually, which at the same time activates it.  But the handle activation before the fact work around is definitely better 😉

I should also point out it was @LMD001 that first raised awareness of how editing the spline would update its enpoint(s).
