How to repeat circles along a path

Can someone point me in the right direction. I want to repeat (duplicate) a circle, rectangle or whatver within a sketch.  For instance, while drawing a sketch I add a rectangle that wish to repeat and duplicate it x number of instances. Once done with that I want to extrude them all afterward.

Thank you

Hmm, well in sketch there are circular and rectangular pattern, but no pattern on path.  So one option you have is to create a cylinder (by cylinder tool or sketch a circle and extrude it), as well as your path, then under Create > Pattern on path choose the Body selection option and select the cylinder, as well as the path.  Once done with the pattern create a sketch and go to Sketch > Project/Include > Project and select each cylinder to get the circles along the path, and viola!  A little out of the way but it works.

You can of course turn off visibility of the bodies once done.

EDIT: I just read you wanted to extrude the circles as cylinders, so in this case you of course can just do the first part I described, without needing to create a new sketch with projected circles.
