Eric and I working on a sketch and found that the curvature handle still is very buggy jumping around or resulting into a complete destroyed spline.

At what point will that curvature handle be made more usable?

It seems that it only is usable when using dimension constraints but then you cannot quickly move handles!

Hi @cekuhnen

I assume you are referring to the handles on a spline curve?

The current spline is going to be replaced by a CV spline curve in an upcoming release, possibly as early as January, which should make life easier.

Hi Colin, that's great news! I am so looking forward to that. As it is now it feels as if you are drawing with guitar strings.

Moving the point on the end of the control handle is easier when select it and right click and choose move.

Yeah I was talking about the smooth handle for a spline fit point.

l always found the spline tool perfect for S like blends so two points but when the curves got more fit points it became hard to use.

Will it be completely replaced with the CV curve or will we get CV curve in addition?

As far as I know, we will have seperated CV curves.

@cekuhnen

My feeling is that it will be an addtion to the curve types rather than a replacment.

I think some people still like the Adobe-like curves.
