I see people are using the 3D mice, but I don't see any menu anywhere to set it up?  Where is the menu at?  Thanks

Hi @utekcnc,

Personally, I don't use a space mouse very often - but I found this guide that should help you out! Check it out here. Let me know if you still have some questions setting it up after that? Where specifically are you having some issues also? Is your computer recognizing the mouse, but not Fusion 360? To my knowledge - Fusion 360 should be an acceptable program that you can select in your 3D Connexion settings.

Thanks,

If you haven't already - first download the latest driver from 3DConnexion.com and install it.

I haven't checked in the past couple of weeks if there is a newer driver released - but in the latest driver I have installed about a month ago there is an issue that 3DConnexion is aware of and will be fixed in next driver (if it hasn't already been fixed).

In Windows (I don't know about Mac) there is a small black and white cube in the lower right corner of the system tray to make changes.

Right clicking on the cube you can Calibrate.

Double clicking the cube brings up the 3D Connexion Control Panel.

But here is the issue -  trying to set to Fusion focus the control panel might disappear behind Fusion and might not be set to Fusion as the active app.

Restore-down the Fusion window so that you can see Fusion and 3DConnextion control panel side-by-side.

Now click on Fusion and then go to the 3DConnexion control panel to set it up.

I prefer to change the Zoom/Pan behavior so that Pan Up/Down matches motion similar to Pan Left/Right.

You now be good to go.

Hi there do you know where I can find some information on setting up the mouse in fusion on Windows? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Doing my head in rapidly, no settings available in preferences in fusion and no application settings for the space mouse in the space mouse window/app

what about the support of the mouse manufacturer?

no application settings for the space mouse in the space mouse window/app

Install Mouse-Software > start Fusion > click "Menue" at Space Mouse > Set up specific settings

Every time I start Fusion - I have to first click Orbit before my 3DConnexion device will work.  After that it works as expected. (Without having to click Orbit.)

Are on a Windows OS or are you on Mac?
