Multiple sheets in the same drawing.

I have a part that's complex enough to require that it's drawing have more than one sheet . I don't want these sheets to be separated for it may lead to misorganization of our company files. On the corner of the standard drawing sheet that Fusion 360 provides there's a sheet count so I figured out it would be possible to add a sheet to the same drawing and differ them through that count. The problem is I can't find where to do this.

Can you please help me with this or let me know if this solution is not possible to do and we'll have to find a way around the issue.

Thanks in advance

Hi engenharia02Mobilis,

Thanks for your post. Unfortunately, at the moment, it is not possible to create a drawing with more than one sheet. We understand the importance of this and are actively working on this although we don't have a date for the release of this functionality yet.

Until then you may have to resort to creating individual drawings for each sheet. Hopefully, the Data panel's Projects and Folders will be of help to you in organizing them.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Krithika

Wow! No multi-sheet drawings?

So many good things to like about Fusion 360 that it is hard to give up on it, but there there are some head-scratchers like this one. I may have to drop back to Geomagic Design to get the critical features I need for the current project like multiple sheet drawings, and detail view from a section view.

I had a similar issue of creating prints for a machine shop and having to manage 6 different drawings. For whatever reason, the drawings are slow to render on both my MacBook and Mac Pro so it was pretty time consuming to generate the necessary drawings (i.e. waiting for Fusion to create a project for each drawing), not to mention page numbering, cluttering folders and keeping everything in sync. Just a long winded way of saying that I echo this as an important feature, that the workaround is fairly onerous and I would assume a frequently used feature for anyone working with a machine shop or handing off specs.

Hi eugenebT5F6X and wkwok,

We are working on multi-sheet support now, and while it won't make the very next update, we anticipate it being released early this year.  It’s coming...

Thanks,
Chris

Hi eugenebT5F6X,

I forgot to add, detail view from a section view is also in development right now. it's another feature we'll be getting out as soon as it's ready.

Thanks,

Chris
