Using both Slider And Revolute motion on same joint?

Hi all! I'm just cutting my teeth with fusion and have a quick question:

Is it possible to have both revolute and slider motion on the SAME component (pin) in a design? I am modeling some sliding pliers and can't seem to get slider and revolute to play nicely with each other.

I have a pin which a component needs to both revolve around and slide on. I can do one or the other, but not both. Why? What I am trying to accomplish should be fairly straightforward when you see the attached picture.

Thanks!

There is a Pin Slot Joint for that.

I think you're right, but it only plays nice if the pin is not integral to another component. IE the pin can't be welded to one component - it must be able to rotate freely.

Thanks! Solved

The jaw and pin should be a rigid group, this rigid group slides in the slot, rotates as a clamping action, should work.
