Unable to select mesh

Hi

I have uploaded an STL file. I am able to select the mesh at this point of time. I am also able to inspect and take measurements, but I am not able to scale the mesh (I am not able to select it to scale) An error message next to the mesh body tells me that it is in need of repair. When I click the error warning triangle the repair tab does not open. In the mesh tab, I select repair. The repair tab opens, but I am unable to select the mesh. In the selection tab, selection filters, Mesh bodies is ticked.

Help please....

Hi Guenther

I do not have a paid subscription and Fusion360 will not allow me to allow download....!!!!

Does the shared link not achieve this?

Is there any other way we can achieve it?

@simondcrosbie - can you just share the STL here?  We can try on our end to see if we can reproduce this.

I had no issues with repairing the mesh.  Of the options, I used the "Close Holes" option.  It is attached if you want it.

Thank you John.

As you would have seen in my previous post that I had already done exactly what you have shown me, but it would not respond... So, I figured that I should treat it like you do with any gizmo that refuses to respond. Shut down and re boot. I deleted the project, created a new one, imported the STL, et voila...  it all works as it should do. Go figure...

Thank you very much for taking the time to test etc. and put me out of my misery.

cheers

Simon
