Trouble Selecting Circle or Smaller Circle - and Order of Steps

Hi,

I design stuff, and find after 3D printing, my design is uh, off a bit. Hey, I'm human......

So I have a circle sketch, that I have say extruded into a solid body; and then I find the diameter was too small for the dowel rod or whatever......   so in my head; go back to the sketch and make a larger diameter circle, and extrude the larger diameter circle and now, when you 3D print, your hole will be bigger?
                                 Is my thinking silly?

When I try this, I can sketch the larger circle, but I have an IMPOSSIBLE time selecting the larger circle. Often it's only 1mm or something larger in diameter, or even less........  I can't seem to SELECT this larger circle to extrude it.

Any Thoughts????

ALONG WITH THIS:   Is there a way for Fusion 360 to either 'group' steps or actions, or not make them linear? In the case above - I want to go back and "unextrude" and redo the sketch - which I can do, but if I have done other UNRELATED operations after that it seems to delete or remove those as well.

Thanks

AJ

@akerezy

Why not simple edit the original sketch?

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Also, longg left click will allow you to cycle through possible selections.

Edit the original circle diameter.

second circle must be in the same sketch as the original.

Do not Delete.- if you get a warning,

in that case ask us questions.

Might help….

Turn the Timeline on at the start of the file, then you can just edit the circle dimensions.

Turn the visibility of all other sketches off, then select the larger circle.
