Trouble creating tent using loft command and rails?

Hello,

While browsing the web looking for information about the Loft command, I stumbled across a video describing best practices when using the loft command.

The video shows a couple of examples, one of them being a tent created using the loft command and rails (https://youtu.be/fXQ28AVaMh0?t=10m35s). I thought it would be easy to recreate it but apparently I was wrong. I have tried a couple of times but I am unable to complete the tent, the last message I am getting is "Warning: Loft to point would have non-smooth neighbourhood of point".

Could someone please describe to me step by step how to properly build the tent described on the video using the loft command and rails?

Please note I am very new to Fusion 360 so the less complex the example is the better. I have attached a sample of what I am currently doing to try to create the tent.

The problem seems to the be curvature of your rails and also that there might be a UI bug at play, which seems to switch rails when selecting them instead of adding them.

What @TrippyLighting points out is definitely a UI bug.  I will investigate that bug.  The other thing I noticed in the video was that the rails go corner-to-corner in that example, while yours go side-to-side.  I'm not sure that is the reason for the error, but I was able to get it to work using that approach:

Here is a little addendum to the 1st tent lofting screencast that shows what the warning message is actually complaining about. Or so I believe!
