Identify referenced features

Hi

I am cleaning up some designs and trying to delete a sketch or anything for that matter, and keep getting a "feature is referenced by other features in the timeline" message box.

How can I trace what the dependencies are? In some cases I can see no logical link.

Thanks

Hi @merik,

That is a good question. In many cases it will be a near by body or a sketch, if the components were build In-place. If not, then it doesn't matter.

Attach the file, tell me where is the problem and I'll show you how to fix this. It is very simple!

Cheers / Ben

Be very careful with that advise! In more complex models this can get very tricky and not all operations can be edited to allow you to re-reference.

I said it's "simple" but not Easy 😉
