Trimming Overlap in Components

Hello all

If you look at the included pic how do I delete the overlapping parts of the two components leaving a common 'joint' along the blue line

thanks

Matt

Two Split body operations, works on solids and surfaces.

hide one body, use the blue line to split the body you can see.

Hide the cut one, show the next one and do the same.

Should work, but no file makes it hard to give accurate answers.

@davebYYPCU is right when it come to the picture you attached

But anyway, why would a solid body overlap with a surface??? I mean in the end, this surface is going to turn into a solid body, so I recommend you for better controlling your project to make it solid and then do what dave said above

Regards
