Sweep or pipe on a Project to Surface - line

Hello everyone,

Thanks for taking your time to read my struggle.

I've found this practice drawing. After struggling and learning how to make a curved line into all axis, I bumbed into the next problem. The diameter is too wide for the path, see the error bellow. I've toggled the Curvature Display, but I'm not really sure what that does.

Correct, I was tweaking them to see if it had any influence. Even after restoring them to the right sizes I still get the error about the illegal surface, how did you manage it to create it?

I've also noticed that the line isn't long enough, see attachment. Or do you fix that later with the sweep?

I've found what i did wrong, the Project to Surface was on 'Closest Point'. After changing it to 'Along Vector' it worked.

Thanks a lot for taking a look!
