Very often while using the Space mouse to rotate a model onscreen the Visual Style gets switched to Solids (with no visible edges) from Solids with Visible Edges. Doesn't prevent me from using the program, just annoying to have to keep clicking down on the bottom to get my edges back. This has happened on pretty much every part I have worked on in Fusion (both created by Fusion and not), happens on both my day job computer, my personal shop computer, and my home computer as well. I would attach an .f3D file, but as I said it happens on every file. All 3 computers it happens on are Windows, with 2 being windows 10 and one being windows 7. Can anyone corroborate this behavior or is it just me?

Thanks for posting.
When you orbit a model in Fusion 360, the visible or hidden edges will be temporarily made not visible. After the model stops orbiting, the edges should come back and be redrawn. However, this calculation can take some time. From the description, it sounds like the space mouse is still receiving some input and Fusion 360 is listening to how you want the model to orbit. I don't have a space mouse to test with at the moment, but I would be very interested to know if anyone else is running into the issue.
Can you tell us what versions of the drivers you are currently using and what the model of the space mouse is?
Thanks,
FYI: Take a look at this thread: display-lines-on-the-body-when-moving. There is a workaround discussed there, if you find this visually annoying. But, be aware that using this could affect your performance.

I'm having the same issue in Fusion 360. It's driving me nuts, having to wait 3 seconds for a redraw in order to see what I'm looking at every time I even so slightly nudge my SpaceMouse. Orbit with the middle mouse+shift works fine and edges are continuously displayed while orbiting or zooming with the regular mouse. Setting the min FPS to 1 in Graphics preferences (as previously suggested in this thread) doesn't affect this issue. This one doesn't seem to be a performance problem. I'm not experiencing any lag in Fusion 360 nor Inventor, which btw has no such issue. Is this just my setup doing this?
I guess I could just NOT use the space mouse while working in Fusion 360, but it's just sooo good. 🙂
My cast with sound below explains it all. Thanks for taking a look into the issue.
Best regards

Yep, I use a SpaceMouse and see this same behavior as well. I had figured it was just a performance limitation, but if it works fine with an actual mouse, I guess not.
I normally work in Shaded with Visible Edges. The shading (which you might think would be the hard part...) is always visible, but it takes the edges a few seconds to pop in after completing a rotation.
If this is fixable, it would add some real value to do so. The flickering doesn't bother me, but I often find that I'm waiting for the edges to show up just to make sense of the geometry.
I know this is an older thread, but I was running into the same problem.
Unchecking the option "Limit effects during navigation to maintain framerate" in the graphics section in the preferences dialog solved it for me....just in case anyone runs into the same issue in the future.
