Sketch Offset to a point

As you can see in the image, I need to offset the sketch (which can be a spline) to a single point (dot dashed lines). This is different with the current offset command which is using the equidistant lines from the reference lines. This is applicable for modeling sector shaft gears which are used in automotive industry. you can this way create the involute profile in a single plane and then use the command to create the sketch in another plane instead of modeling the involute from start for the profile shift required.

You will need to attach your model so the Forum users can take a look at your sketch.

 

If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it. If needed, ZIP a F3Z file.

There is no sketch available. It is more like a help request. I want to draw the offset as described in the message image. the previous image shows the current offset command available in fusion 360 output for the green lines represented as black lines. the dashed lines show the green curve new offset method lines to the center point, in which, is the sketch origin in this example. the dot-dashed lines are the resulting profile I am looking for. the green profile is just an example with lines, but my request is for splines and curves as well. I have attached another simple example sketch. this is a very simplified sector gear with a constant 5-degree slope along its axis. as you can see the sections are lofted using the sketches made of that specific offset method. the resulting body has a 5-degree slope in all section planes that pass through its axis. now imagine the involute profile is created in one plane as an sketch you can model profile shift for the gears with this trick. or at least I think so.

The taper option in the extrude command should do what you want:

Simple tapered cylinder matches your model:

Extruding your sketch (green) doesn't match the teeth, but the cylinder section does match.

First thanks for your reply

but without any offense, I know many of the functions in fusion 360, and none will do my request (currently I am using python script to do what I described). 

Please be sure before replying that your proposed method works precisely as I described and made the sample file.

Again, thanks for your time but the problem is not solved, and I know tapered extrusion and even draft function and many more advanced functions. they won't work as I want it. by the way, please note that the sample sketch in the second plane for the loft only has the correct offset in its points with guidelines, but any points in between does not comply with the offset rule described.

I replied to your post in a way that suggests there may be a bug in the way taper in an extrude works.  One would think the angle would be consistent for all of the geometry.
