Sketch lines and rectangles do not result in profiles

I've got a sketch, small & simple at this point.

I've extruded a couple of things.

Then edited the sketch; added a rectangle.  (Then another few lines for testing)

The newly-added rectangles & lines do not create profiles anymore.

I'm quite baffled how this is possible and wondering if anyone has any idea...

The sketch is fully defined,

3d sketch is off (and was off, I did not touch it)

there are no selection filters active

Edit: attacked the f3d file

Yet I can't use the new rectangles & lines for extrusion.  There seems to be no profile created by them.

I've attached two sample images to illustrate the situation, hopefully it helps.

Thanks for any ideas in advance!

Is the rectangles in different planes, if yes then try hiding the top one and then try extruding.

Thanks.
The rectangles are on the same 2d sketch, I can't imagine how they could be on different planes.

Thanks, no the profiles are not hidden. I'll try to share something, bear with me, please, I've never tried anything like that before...

Edit: I've attached the f3d file to the opening post.   I'm quite curious what did I do to get to this stage 🙂

Not sure what went wrong but running Compute All (Ctrl+B) fixes the sketch.

Edit. Just toggling show profile also fixes the sketch!
