Sketch Dimensions and Special mouse

Hello,

So basically I have a mouse with numpad on the side.

I use this to insert dimensions and values without having to move my hand over to the keyboard when 3D modelling.

However there is one very fustrating thing about fusion 360 sketch dimension:

When I go to lets say make a line and I have the option to dimension it, whenever I type a value, I have to keep the mouse 100% still until I hit enter. If I move the mouse the slightest, the value will dissapear and I have to try again. This is very tiring because it makes it even harder to dimension than actually using the keyboard!

Any idea how I can avoid this from happening?

Best regards,

Lasse

Hi,

Even if that's not what you want to hear,
I assume you don't change that as long as you use one of these mice.

When you type in a value do you not get a yellow lock beside the value?

If not, do you get that lock when you use the keyboard to type in a value? That lock locks in the value entered so you are free to move wherever for the angle of said line.
