sculpt mode any way to snap to object?

i was wondering if theres any way i can line up my holes with the bottom plate i have ? so its the right dimension and it will sit right on top of the top plate ? thanks 🙂sculpt canopy design.png

I guess I wouldn't use the word "combine", I'd say it's more like "isolate", but yes. It removes all timeline actions that are not related to to the activated component. But apparently you must have "Hide all inactive features" selected which I did not realize.

i see so when you activate a example arm in the tree you isolate your arm to timeline basically?

@oystein.l.l I seems apparent to me that you "jumped into" Fusion 360 without consulting too many of the educational resources available.

As such my recommendation would be to go though one of the courses here. You'll have questions afterwards but will be much better equipped to ask them.

 

For starters, you need to understand the differences between a body and a component.

Then familiarize yourself with Fusion 360's R.U.L.E #1

nope did not watch educational videos 🙂 i did however look over it now and components and bodies makes sense now 🙂 also figured out what activate means, and how to sort out my timeline to keep it simple... theres alot to learn in fusion 360 i dont have a big enough head to learn everything:) i came from youtube where i learned the basics of the program..
