Rotating 3D wood material in Render Mode

Hi Guys,

The problem I am having is that when rendering, on a number of occasions the wood grain is going in the wrong direction. This, I think is because the materials reads the length of the component as the direction of the grain. This isn't true in some instances and I'm not able to re-orient the 3D wood material.

Am I missing something very simple, or is this not do-able?

[The back panel in the image attached is diagonal, all it needs is a simple rotate]

Thanks,

Wesley

You need to select the body, or component, right click on it and select the Texture Map controls. They will allow you to modify the orientation of the texture.

That did the trick! Unfortunately I don't see a "Scale" option in this menu. Do you know if it's possible to adjust this as well?

You'll have to edit the material:
