Revolve With an Overlap Learning Revolve

Hi,

 

I am trying to create a Dog Cone, (what they wear when they have had surgery or shots so they don't bite the area). This is a learning commands challenge, I try to learn one every day today is REVOLVE. I have tried to use a couple different commands. I've attempted to sketch a circle with an overlap using arcs. Also using Spline. However I believe I am missing something very simple. Final goal is I would like to do is make a cone shape with an very close overlapdog cone thing .jpg where the Velcro would go.

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Great question.  This is a cool modeling question.  The answer is, you will need to use Sweep instead of Revolve for this.
