Issue was brought to the wider audience on our developers meeting and conclusion is:

1. We'll fix this issue, so the recording works in the same manner as in Fusion360.Animations.

2. We'll try to push this fix into hotfix. Since it is a customer issue, it should make it, still "We'll try" doesn't mean, it will be there for sure. Depends on the decision of reviewers. Hotfix is expected to be released 26.9.2015.

3. If the fix doesn't make it into hotfix, it will come out with regular release. Regular release is expected to come out during November 2015.

Hi Tony,

You mentioned "can you add in an issue with droping files to upload and links that would open in a web browser are not working with my install under windows ten".

Can you please give more details on the problem? I tried dragging a file from the Explorer on Windows 10 to the Fusion 360 upload dialog, and it worked for me. Also, what is the issue with links that won't upen in a web browser.  Which links have this problem?

Which browser are you using as your default browser in Windows 10?

Hi Tony,

When I access links from the Fusion360 data panel on WIndows 10, they work on both Chrome and Edge.  I'm also able to drag file from the Windows Explorer to the upload dialog, and it works.

I've got a fiew more questions for you.

1. What version of the Chrome browser are you running?

2. Can you please list the exact steps you are trying for drag and drop?

3. What file type are you trying to drag?

4. You mention below "I turned off my av".  What does that mean?

Here are the steps I took to get drag and drop to work on WIndows 10;

1. Press on the "Upload" button in Fusion360.

2. Open the Windows Explorer using the button on the Windows 10 task bar.

3. Browse to a design file that Fusion360 knows about (I used a .f3d file).

4. Drag the file from the Explorer to the Upload dialog "Drag and Drop Here" area.

ok scott ,

I did the same steps as you did, The difference is I used a dxf . I got the same result as before black circle with a line throw it .

chrome is Version 45.0.2454.101 m

I am glad your update to windows ten has allowed you to use fusion with out problems .

I do have enough of an IT background to know that what works on ones windows machine may not work the same on the next .

AV = antivirus
