Delete Faces After Combine Cut Operation

I have some components that protrude though a thickened T-spline form (now component) and I have performed a combine cut operation which worked fine. I would like, however, to delete the interior cutoffs, but they won't delete. Is this possible, and if so, by what means?

My working knowledge of another program I use may be keeping me from grasping some things in Fusion. In the the other program I alluded to a user selects the component after the operation and then selects Explode to separate the now 2-component object.  The cutoff can then be selected and deleted.

Sounds like you made another body when you did the cut. Did you use the body filter in the Remove dialog?

Thanks,

Thanks. I don't think I would have figured that out without your guidance.

Thanks Don I'll share your comments with our UX team.

I can see that there is no dialog or Tooltip provided for the Remove command. I'll log a report for that, it should be more exposed in some way.

For your benefit here is a recent discussion that explains it well. Let me know if you have questions, always glad to help.
