Recently opened a file after a month or so of inactivity, and the last save is months older than my last save.

Originally my file's last save was sometime in early July, but I haven't interacted with the file until today. When I went to re-open the file, the latest save is from March 30th. When viewing my Fusion360 file hub online, I'm given the same data. This is legitimately a career altering loss for a massive project deadline I have, and just everything is completely lost during those months of work. I could understand having a final save corrupted or lost, but I truly do not understand how this much data could just vanish with Fusion. I just attempted an update to Fusion last night but I don't think I proceeded with it, and recently initiated a 30-day free trial of the personal use license. Otherwise my files have not changed whatsoever. Is there any way to recover these saves?

The file should be called Crossbow_Hardware_Forprint, within the Skewer_Crossbow_Alterations project. Currently the file is at version 36 dated March 30, but there should be a number of versions as far as June 19 or 20.

Thanks Rajkumar!

@marino.andrew9 We can certainly see some versions of this file still on your local disk that has not yet uploaded. The team is investigating and there are some clues in the logs on why this might be failing to upload.

Can you please close Fusion and then follow this article to disable reservations and then launch Fusion again and see if the upload goes through?

@marino.andrew9 If the above suggested does not work then I have another one that our engineering team suggested. So let me know how the above one goes.

The link you sent might be a bit out of date. On step 2 there's information about clicking into an 'admin' tab that just doesn't exist on the website when I click into my account into the top right corner which makes step 3 and 4 not possible to complete. Is there a more up to date tutorial on how to disable design reservations?

@marino.andrew9 Its likely then you are on a personal hub? In your data panel, if you go to the top right, and use the dropdown how many hubs do you see? Do you mind capturing an image of that?

@marino.andrew9 Also here is another one that we can try:

1. Close Fusion
2. Go to %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360/9RWQM3W92HRA/W.login/Q/c31e56b5-d626-4322-a07c-47bb6e050b0f.f3d._xx

3.Rename that _xx file and replace it with the one I have attached here.
4. now restart Fusion

Now do you see this file being uploaded to the cloud?

Sure Rajkumar,

When using the page link, that tells me to first go into fusion and select 'my profile' from the dropdown under my account profile in the corner, I am brought to a page where these are my only options from my account dropdown, which looks significantly different from the video attached to the link you sent regarding these steps:

For your second reply, is that link you sent intended to go in my browser URL or my file search on my macbook? I used Go to folder on my computer and input that %appdata% script and nothing appeared.

@marino.andrew9 My bad in assuming this was windows :). Here is how we want to get it on a Mac:

1. Go to Finder
2. Go - click on "options" you will see the Library option come up - click on library
3. Then Application Support/Autodesk /Autodesk Fusion 360 / 9RWQM3W92HRA/W.login/Q/c31e56b5-d626-4322-a07c-47bb6e050b0f.f3d._xx

Gotcha. When I look at 'Go' from finder, I don't see an "options" option, or anything about library anywhere in the drop down. Sorry if this has been difficult.

@marino.andrew9 At that point click on the "option" button on your Mac keyboard. you will see a Library option light up 🙂

Jeeeez, I should have known that.

And just to be clear on that file you want me to access, you specifically want me to rename it with the listed file you linked? Just highlight the file name and paste in the new text? Or replace the file with the one you linked and remove the older version? Do I have to do anything to the file of the same name with the .f3d extension as well?

@marino.andrew9 @Don’t worry about remane. That was move for a back up. Just replace the file with the one I sent.

@marino.andrew9 And when you close Fusion you are still getting the message 12 pending files?

@marino.andrew9 And in the file that you are having this issue, is does this file uses other references? As in if you go into "Uses" are there reference files in there?

Only 11 jobs now.

Uses is still the same for that file. Used in and Drawings are still blank.

@marino.andrew9 @How about the “uses” field.

Now that it is 11 means one file uploaded. Let’s keep working on this. Give me a few more minutes.

Uses shows all of the files that have been imported into this file over its history. Which was always accurate, because no additional uses were added post March 30.

Thanks. I'll keep an eye out for your reply

@marino.andrew9 Couple of things:

1. Can you give me a snapshot of "Uses" so that we have a reference of what files are in question.
2. Will you be able to invite me into your project? raj.kumar.ilanchelian@autodesk.com
2. Which time zone are you in? If needed we cn do a video call on certain things (we are not yet there but if that need comes would be good to know your availability)
