Project Sketch not updating timeline

Hmmm......I just tried this out on a new model and it worked fine, but the model I have been working on does NOT work like this brand new model.

I have a Form that I am projecting some sketched circles onto.  I then "split body" the projected circles, and then "delete" the bodies in order to make some circular-ish cuts.  On the new file I can go back to the sketch and edit the circles into new places, and the changes travel down the timeline just fine.  But in the model I have been working on the changes do not travel down at all....the initial sketch is changed, but the resulting holes are where they always were.

I tried to "compute all" but that did not have any effect....anyone know why those changes would not propagate?

Thanks,

Nick

Hi Nick,

without seeing the model it is hard to say. It could be a bug.

The only thing offhand I can think of is if your older design is not a "history-based" design. Do you see a timeline at the bottom of the older design?

If you can share or post your design, we'd be happy to take a look.

Thanks

Just for clarification for other in the future, this was found to be an "interesting" bug.  Submitted for analysis, even though I have never seen it again, nor would maybe anyone else.
