Problem with component visibility

Some of my components, are normal visibility.  That is solid with no hidden edges.

Others are faint with hidden edges.

I have no idea why these components are different.

I have been living with this for a while, but now I want to complete an assembly and find it difficult to deal with all the hidden edges I end up with.

Please see component Tri spring (solid) versus components Lip roller shoe (not solid), and latch lever (not solid)

The parts that are semi transparent have their opacity setting turned down...

Right click the component/body and choose opacity control..

Hi,

Components opacity has priority over body opacity.

there's a bug that's been floating around for quite some time now where there opacity of a component will stay low or get set low when changing component activation.  I've seen it many times, but have yet to figure out a repeatable sequence of events that causes it.  it just seems random.  AD knows about it, but I think until someone can find a way to reliably repeat the problem, it won't get fixed.

It did it again right after I did the latest update....

Now setting the opacities to 100% doesn't work.....I tried all the components for top level to bttm level no luck.

Guess I m Stuck with it till maybe the next update

AD isn't going to fix it till they get a repeatable scenario, so you could be waiting a while.

does it persist after closing and reopening?

you're sure you've got the top level component activated?

can you attach the the .f3d file?
