Option for "Objects to Join"

When performing extrudes or Boolean operations of different shapes there is no drop down to select what objects are joined, compared to performing a cut operation you can pick which objects/parts to cut.

This forces user to join everything (not a good solution) or create a new body, then have to do perform a second operation to combine the desired bodies, this would be much more efficient to have the same drop-down as the cut operation and eliminate the need for a combine operation afterwords in many cases.

Hi @joelgHHWQD,

You have to work with #Rule 1, Make components

You are speaking about parts in you're screenshot. And that is what components does.

one part can be more bodies.

So making components of each part will bring you to your needs.

Yes I understand that, but that still creates the need for a second operation if you are trying to make one part from multiple bodies inside of a component. Also, why would we then have the option under cutting but not joining as the same argument could be used for cutting?

I would support this improvement request. The tool appears not fully implemented!
