Need Help Deleting Body Split In Timeline

I have been getting very used to tricks in fusion, I run into issues here and there but always find a video or forum to help push passed. I am stuck with a model I created a while ago that I split the only way I knew how to at the time. Now I found a better way and I am trying to go back and delete the split but it gets rid of everything I did after that. Please help!

Hi,

avoid „Delete“  try „rightclick > suppress

right click in browser, and "remove".

delete will try to purge it of ever existing in the timeline.  "remove" puts a feature in the timeline and removes the object from that point.  I found this to be very confusing.
