How To Cut Down And Reshape T-Spline In Form

Does anyone know if there is a way to cut down a T-Spline?  For example in the snippet below I would like the T-Spline to be cut down to the blue line noted by the red arrows:

Also, does anyone know how to reshape the heel area circled in red below into a more rounded curvature (like the mesh circled in red below it) by grouping all the t-splines in that area or do I need to grab and reposition the vertices one at a time:

There is no "cut" in T-Splines itself.  I would just delete the faces you no longer need, and adjust the border edges of the rest to match up with your desired shape.  As for the heel area that needs more curvature, yes, I would just move vertices/edges/faces one at a time to get the shape I need. If you have a mesh file that has the results you want, you could use Pull to snap some of the T-Spline vertices to that mesh, but otherwise I would use Edit Form directly.  I've become a fan of Soft Modification as a way to keep an area smooth as you move vertices around.

That statement needs a little supplement. In Blender, there is a Knife tool that allows cutting control cage polygons. The equivalent in Fusion is the "insert point" tool.

However, it depends on the topology of the object whether or not that is the right tool.

 

I would agree that deleting the first 1-3 face loops and manually moving the top edges and vertices to match that spline is the best solution.

I looked at the Size 251 Mesh Shoe Last v2 file. Is that the shape you are trying to recreate in Fusion?

There are workflows available within  Fusion and also using external tools (Autodesk Meshmixer, Instant Meshes, Blender) that can make this a much more accurate exercise than manually modeling a shoe last.

Use your spline shape to make an object with thickness, then boolean it from your target shape.

@TrippyLighting The Size 251 Mesh Shoe Last is just a starting point to get the basic shape of the shoe.  The shape needs to be modified for proper fit.  And this is where we are now.  I'm trying to make the appropriate modifications using t-splines, surfaces and solids in Fusion as you've seen in this post and others.
