Multiple parameter sets

I see a lot of questions about using user parameters across multiple files. I want to do the opposite. I have a parameter-driven design that needs to be exported as different versions with different sets of parameters (basically different sizes but it's more complicated than just an overall scale factor). Is there a way to have multiple sets of parameters within the same file? I'm thinking of something like multiple numerical columns in the parameter worksheet.

Hi @rhelms77

I'm sure Fusion does not have that capability at this time. A rather clunky work around would be to copy and "paste as new" your component and then manually change the parameters in the parameters dialogue box. Some clever use of the Users Parameters may simplify the task if you follow this route. Alternatively, you could use multiple files and employ the Parameters I/O add in as @Anonymous has suggested.

I don't think you need "multiple files" with parameter i/o. Theoretically it works with any single assembly file, updating parameters (and therefore the assembly) that have changed automatically. But its still a kludgy ":solution" until the great, fantastic, hard working (seriously!) Fusion teams get time to improve user parameters.

I was assuming the different designs would need to be viewed side by side, but either way it is not ideal as you say.
