Rotating duplicate of component whilst not rotating the original

Hi all,

 

I made a plate then made it into a component copy and pasted to duplicate, placed the second plate, and now the two are linked so if i change the first, the second changes. 

 

The problem now is, I need to rotate one plate 180 degrees, as there is a step for a bearing on both plates that needs to face inwards, and its designed to be symetrical so both plates are the same. If i try to rotate one, it rotates the other. 

How can i unlink them to rotate one plate (and ideally re link after) or how can I tell fusion that one is supposed to be a mirrror image of the first?

You need to "Paste as New"

@Anonymous,

 

Just guessing here, but I suspect that when you are using the Move command, that command is in Body mode.  This mode will move the body inside of the component, so it will affect all instances.  However, if you use the Move Components mode, you can absolutely rotate only one instance, without affecting the other, without using Paste New.
