Is it possible to move circles shown in the pic equally from the center construction line in X when the line length is changed?

Of course the circles can be individually put any where needed, it's the concept being looked for.

I've tried every possible combination my now tired brain can conceive with no joy 😞

I am not sure what you question is,

From your screenshot, the circles appear Coinsident, change the dimension of the line, the circles should go with it.

do you want to add more circles spaced on that line?

Sketch Linear Pattern would do that,  for a low number of circles, but patterns in sketches are not recommended, if you can manage the same result with features.

Rectanglular pattern with one row, would work, and

Circular pattern for two sets of objects should work as well., not restricted to X direction.

My 2 cents, may help your planning.

Symmetry constraint should get you there.

Hi Browny.
What I am trying to accomplish is having each circle move together "From" the center construction line when the line length is changed, I.E. one circle would move in the -X the other in X.

Thanks

Constraints are the key but have not been able to accomplish the symmetry constraint, thinking because I am not selecting in the proper order.

What would be the order of selection?

Thanks

OK the Symmetry constraint worked as I suspected it would in I know a dozen (or more) attempts to get it to work, why it works now I've no clue, my only guess is I did not select properly.

On to the next hurdle LOL

Thanks
