Hi,

I love helicopters and I'd like to use fusion 360 to model them as a hobby. My problem is I'm not sure where to start I'm also new to fusion 360 as well. Any advice or tutorials I can watch will be appreciated

At the top of this page next to the comunitiy tab is one labelled learn.

The above comment is not ment to be standard "go have a look at the help tab and don't ask silly questions" kind of reply.

More it's a genuine "to get started have a look at the fusion way of doing things". There are some differences.

What's  your skill level?

Do you have knowledge of the expencive SW? You can set your mouse functions to emulate SW.

Fusion could model a compleatly functioning helicopter.

Remember that you need componants to use joints.

You can turn bodies(sketches that have been extruded(( fusion lingo is Press/pull)) into a 3D shape)  into components.

All components and bodies remain in the project folder.

The sculpting tools in the model space are excellent for making the organic curves for the main body!

But it it all takes practise.

Good luck. I for one would like to see what you do with it.

The tutorials get you started. We can help when/If you need.
Where are you going to start with the model?
