Hi Dave,
Welcome to Fusion community! Mirroring mesh bodies is not supported so could you try going to Model workspace and right-clicking on the mesh body in the browser, and then selecting "Mesh to BRep" command and mirror a solid body?
Ok i Can Change to Brep.. but then how do i mirror the solid Body?
sorry i couldn't find that solution..
i just got it to work...
now stumbling my way thru seeing how to machine it.. I'm trying to change the material to plywood..
When I select a mesh body in the tree and right click, I see no such "Mesh to BRep" command in the list.
Any idea why?
To Convert Mesh to BRep, you must first Deactivate the Capture Design History.
Then on right click, of the mesh body, you should be able to convert Mesh to BRep.
This is using version 2.0.9011 on Mac.

That is incorrect!
With the design history enabled you to create a base feature and while in the base feature you can convert the mesh to a BRep.
To Mirror a Body, select the body, then in the Create drop-down menu select Mirror.
Select a Plane, Choose the Operation, then select OK.
This is using version 2.0.9011 on Mac.
Can you visually demonstrate how?
I couldn't arrive to the Mesh to BRep otherwise.
Insert -> Insert Mesh
Solid -> Create -> Base Feature
Right -click on mesh and select "Convert" from menu.
This is way more clean than the approach I was using. Thank you!
I found the two approach also described on this page:
Ey, There is a litle hack for this! basically there is no function for mirroring a mesh itself, but you can mirror components. So if you create a component from the mesh you want to mirror then you can mirror the component hence you will have a mirrored mesh.
Regards !
