Local Rendering doenst complete queue, is empty after reopen render

Yesterday i tried to make a few local renderings but the queue never completes and after reopening the render workspace my galerie is empty, only the "waiting" animation is shown. After restarting Fusion i only see the complete renderings and all my saved for queue renderings are gone. Happened a few times now.

BTW

the background rendering is bad. Even with a low priority the system is totally slow responding. Why is there no pause button for this?

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting - my apologies for the late response on this thread. I was unable to recreate the issues that you described on my end, but the local rendering process is shown in the logs. Would you mind gathering your diagnostic log files and attaching them to this forum thread?

As it seems that this thread was created a week ago, any insight you can provide on the exact dates this problem has occurred on and the names of the files in which the behavior occurred will be helpful.

I'd also be curious to know if any of the renderings are shown in the item details page for the design in a web browser at myhub.autodesk360.com.

The lack of control over the local rendering process can be a pain point in Fusion - an Ideastation post requesting more processor control is linked here. I think a "pause" button could be included in this request - please either comment on the linked thread or create a new Ideastation thread to discuss the possibility of adding this feature.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention - please let me know if you have any questions.

It occured on the 16/17 March last week (thursday, friday )

The rendering-queue just vanished, nothing on the hub or fusion. No problem with the finished renderings.

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! The logs look like the local rendering for the "Schnellwechsler" file was completed successfully and uploaded to the cloud a, but this does not appear to be the case.

Has this file been shared with other users? Knowing if this is a shared file may help us understand why this problem occurred.

I also notice that the screenshot shows that the open design is v47, but the failed renderings are referring to v46. Do the renderings come through correctly if you click the failed renderings and re-render them? I'm also curious if the rendering gallery is shown exactly the same as in your initial screenshot at this time.

I've reached out to the rendering about this issue and will keep you updated with any new information I have to share.

Thanks for your help

All renderings where local renderings, i cant re-render them because the render-job was never done and dissapeared.

I am in a Team-Hub, all files are shared with other users. But i am shure they did never open these files i am working with right now.

Btw i made a lot of renderings with the name Schnellwechsler because i am really lazy with names in this design.

I think the unfinished rendering jobs vanished because Fusion 360 crashed because i was really sloppy in this design. i didnt care about the integrity of the parts, it is a one time only assembly for some quick renderings.

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for the response! I've passed this information along to the rendering team, who will be having a look. This could be due to sloppy modeling - would you mind sharing the assembly in which you observed this problem with us?

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for sending the file over! I was able to upload it and create local renderings with no problems, which suggests that this issue may have been a one time problem. I'll pass the file along to development in the ticket we've logged on this behavior in case they are able to recreate the issue - we appreciate your input.

Do you see any problems with new renderings in the design? Please let me know if you do - if so, you may be able to get the renderings created by downloading a new copy of the design through the link you shared with me.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I dont have problems with renderings in that design itm. It happened only last week and only with a few renderings in a queue. Maybe some kind of tempcache was deleted after fusion crashed?

Hi @Anonymous

Glad to hear that you are not still experiencing issues with the problem design! It is certainly possible that some local cache was accidentally deleted - our development team will be looking into this. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
