Make Sketch A visible while working in Sketch B?

If I am editing Sketch B, then Sketch A simply disappears from the browser until I close Sketch B. I'd like to hit the little light bulb icon to make it visible (hopefully with the ability to snap to various lines in that sketch). Is that possible?

I'm guessing here that sketch A was created after sketch B (later in the timeline).  This is a fundamental idea in how parametric modeling works.  When you edit a sketch or feature, everything later in history is rolled back, and not available.  This is to prevent cyclic dependencies (project a line from A into B, then back into A).  Think of edit sketch as time travel.  Fusion takes you back in time to when that sketch was created.

You're right. Sketch A was created after B, and your explanation makes perfect sense. Thanks.
