I am a beginner to fusion and have limited experience with Plasma Cam. I would like a list of definitions of words used in the description of procedures in Fusion 360. When I look up a lot of words on your help section there is often no answer. I realize that I need to understand the terms in order to describe the difficulties , of which I have many, when I try to perform a number of tasks in sketching, etc.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for reporting your issue Smiley Happy

I think Fusion 360 is supporting multiple industries so that they couldn't prepare for all of materials yet. ( but I'm pretty sure they will!!Smiley Embarassed)

If you can share what you want I will be able to report it to create a new documentations.

I look forward to your reply.

Many thanks,

@Anonymous Have you found the online help, there's quite a lot of information on each of the workspace environments.

Try this on sketching.

Thank you. I have seen that learning section but find that I have many more
questions when I start a project. I am taking the Instructables class on 3D
printing and trying to make the presented models. However, when I get into
them the directions assume a lot and don't delineate every step. At times,
terms are used that are foreign to me. I will have to start making a list
of them and then getting the answers on this forum because I usually can't
get an answer through the autodesk help or tutorial sections. It seems to
me that the tutorials assume more than a beginner level of design. I know
some drafting but that is the extent of my knowledge.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for sharing your idea. Smiley Happy

I absolutely agree with your opinion. Theses days, a lot of new members are coming to forum. I assume that means they was unable to get some information through help menu.

Regarding this issue, I'm going to report it to my manager. they will try to listen to customer's opinion.

If I receive any response from them, I'll get back to you Smiley Happy

Many thanks,

Maybe post some of the terms you don't understand.

CAD terminology is by nature very heavy on computer graphics and vector math related terms and Fusion 360 uses quite a few of them. But then, these can be googled easily.
