Is it possible to have a hole with threads to match an E26 medium bulb base? I have looked and I am not able to find the thread option anywhere. It may be there and I am not looking in the correct place but I have been looking in the thread options in the hole command.

I do not think that Fusion 360 has this thread. You can not safely manufacture a socket yourself (your question reveals, that you are not a licensed electrical manufacturer) by e.g. 3D print. The E26 and E27 socket has only few differences - see here:

https://www.waveformlighting.com/home-residential/e26-vs-e27-bulbs-are-they-interchangeable

Searching grabcad for E26 gives nothing usefull, but searching for "E27 socket":

https://grabcad.com/library?page=1&time=all_time&sort=recent&query=e27%20socket

gives some options. You have not written why you need this thread, but maybe it is an option for you to download a design, and incorporate it or part it in your design!?

If you already have the product in hand, and just want to 3D model it, you could model the outside and use the thread from the download.

AFAIK you have to model this yourself. Here you can find some tutorials. You might also be able to download ready designs from grabcad or some of the in Fusion 360 linked sites.

Thanks for the response. And no I am not by any means an electrical manufacturer nor do I intend to manufacture said part. I was doing this for a tutorial I was looking at but it showed nothing about the threads for the bulb or the socket. This was really just a way for me to become more familiar with the hole command and thread command. Once I got to looking into it I was having a hard time looking for said threads and I just didn't know if they were there and I was missing them or if they were not in the threads option. From what I have seen the threads for light bulbs are not in the options and probably for good reason.

My understanding the thread / hole tool is for screws, bolts, pipes etc.
