How to bend sketch to a curve

Ideas on how to model the below image. The top view is easy using "pipe" or sweep profile but the side view curve is the problem. I have tried to project the top view sketch to a curved surface but the dimensions change too much. I have reviewed tutorial on doing projections to curved surfaces but always too much distortion. I have also tried to put a plane down the center on the model and then "include 3d geometry" and then on side view of 2d sketch of top plane, "move" each point, to a large circle on the new plan. That does not work either and there is problems of getting fusion to recognize sketch lines and points. Anyway I'm stuck.

Can you File>Export and then Attach the *.f3d file of your attempt here?

Attached is the two-plane approach and moving points.

Have a look.

Featuring:

- a curve + a surface from that curve

- a planar sketch

- a project to surface

- a pipe

Yes that was the first thing I tried as I mentioned and what happens is the length of the projected sketch distorts and shrinks. If you look at both sketches from the side in your file you can see the top sketch is much longer. It would be guesswork to get the same dimensions as the original or some cool math.

the projected path is shrinking because "closets point" is being used instead of "along vector".  that and the odd angle the surface is being set up at.

other than various hyjinx using the sheet metal tool, there isn't a "bend" tool in  fusion, you have to come up with a way to directly model it.

does the attached look better? the third sketch in is an intersecting surfaces projected from the first 2 sketches.

No math required. Make your initial sketch larger than the final shape. Create a cylinder centered under the center of the geometry on the sketch (Use dimensions to control the diameter of the cylinder).  Use the Project to Surface command.  Measure the length of the arc on the cylinder.  If it's too long, make the diameter of the cylinder smaller, too short, make the diameter longer.  It should only take a couple of iterations to get it close.   Use the formula for arc length given a central angle and radius if you need nanometer accuracy.
