Is there a way to explode facets to save or seperate without having to do so manually?

I have an object that has around 500 facets. I need the dimensions or shapes of each facet individually. Is there a way to achieve this without manually dragging out each facet away from itself? I know I can seperate the facets but want to basically explode it out. I am a fusion novice at best, most of my learning is from youtube or online. If there is a way to do this, I'm happy to watch a video or learn but don't know what to look at. Seperate is the best I've seen but I need it to save externally as seperate facets not as a solid. I hope? this makes sense! Thank you.

At least to me, your question does not make sense.  Can you attach a model and/or a screen capture to explain what you mean by facets?  Is this a Mesh Body you are talking about.

Sure! Ok so I am trying to get all these exact triangles/shapes so I can cut out each triangle separately but to the exact triangle dimension.

Can you elaborate on what the end goal of this project is?

You can unstitch all those facets, but that will result in many infinitely thin surface bodies that you cannot do anything with in the real world.

I have this low poly dog I'd like to turn into an art project with each facet/shape being a different color. I need to cut each shape out individually but to do that I also need the shape as a pattern to do so.
