Idea: define a chamfer by constant length

Hi all,

Just realised a function is missing that I wish I could have: a native Chord Length or Constant Width option for chamfers. It exists for fillets, but not for chamfers.

Hi! Before the enhancement becomes available, you could try this workaround and see if it helps. For the edges you would like to create the constant length chamfer, you may create a chord-length fillet. Go to Surface tab and delete the fillet faces. After that, create Loft surfaces to fill the gaps. Lastly, stitch the surfaces back to a solid body.
