I can't connect a pipe on two different places, to the same body

So, whenever I connect the pipe on one of the sides, it becomes impossible for me to connect it on the other side. The pipe is a seperate body, and I'm trying to connect it to the main body, in two places, but it only allowes me to do it on one of the sides. The moment the two parts have become one body, it's impossible. I'm using the sculpt enviorment, and the option "Merge Egde". I have tried a lot of different things, but I'm all out of ideas by now. Please share your ideas!

This sort of object, even if you are able to connect the “pipe” will not convert into a solid body, because it is not a manifold. However, there is a way to create this sort of object. I just need to see if I can find that particular thread er this was discussed.

In the meantime, you may want to share your model.

With a little more effort tying together a couple of parameters - it would be fully editable by the parameters.

(Watch out for changing the Shell Thickness and the Fillets.)

I can't really say that I'm confident in my skills whit using Fusion 360, I started using it less than 6 months ago. But I'll try looking into it.
