Relax T-Spline Edge

hey guys new-ish user just diving into the world of T-splines in F-360 I seem to be having a bit of difficulty in my refinement, now I'm starting to get closer to my ideal sculpt shape.

I cant show to much detail due to the nature of what I'm making but here is a close-up (attached)

is there any way to get this t-spline edge to just chill the hell out? I feel like I'm looking for a Relax spline option (used in SW) but I can't find anything of the like, just wondering what the workflow is to get rid of this mess and replace or fix so it's more smooth and consistent the modify tool handle for the points don't seem to do anything useful on that front.

my mind just wants to iron that sucker smooth haha surely there has to be a mechanism I'm missing here!

thanks in advance!!

Can't say for sure without the model, of course, but when my TSpline edges get too uptight, I find it helps to switch to Box mode.  Often, the problem will become apparent when you look at the model in Box mode - one set of edges will be way distorted.  Sometimes, just tweaks to this scaffolding so that it is more regular, with less huge angles between adjacent faces will help.

The other aspect (which I am not an expert on) is the location of "star points" in your model.  Use the Repair Body command to show where these star points are.  The short version is:  A star point is a vertex where more than 4 edges come together.  What I've been told is:  a) minimize the use of star points (you cannot get rid of them entirely.  b) try not to have star points adjacent to other star points, and c) put the star points in areas of low curvature of your surface, if you can.  Don't really understand the technical details of this last one, but sometimes these wrinkles are associated with star points in areas of high curvature.

Also, try not to use too many triangular faces, either.

Hope this helps.  If you decide to share the model (or maybe just this one body, or even a subset of it), lots of folks will help.

And, sometimes, the Make Uniform command can also do good things.  It's not quite a "relax" command, but it can help make your TSplines a bit easier to deal with when editing.

@sni9er

This is a very common issue with T-Splines. 90% of the time if you export the T-Spline as a control cage (.obj) file and bring it back in and convert it to a T-Spline it will fix this problem.
