Respected Sir,

I have built assembly in Fusion 360. At some stage i found command as "DO NOT CAPTURE DESIGN HISTORY." After enabling of it, all design history was deleted. Now i again want to capture Design history. So, is there any command that will keep design history active again??

Right click on the root component and Capture history ☺

Understand, though, that "Do not Capture Design History" is destructive.  That is, this command deletes the design history from your design.  Turning on "Capture Design History" again will allow you to capture new features, but it will not restore any features that were there previously.

When you disabled the timeline all the history was deleted!

To start recording a new timeline you can select the root of the browser, right-click on it and select "capture design history".

There is a little gear icon in the lower right corner of the Fusion 360 window with the seam menu item.

To toggle "capture design history" on and off go to "preferences" (under your user name) -"general"-"design"-"design history" turn on or off.

I also thought I had the same problem.

My problem was actually that my fusion window was not full screen, but it was almost full screen. The capture design bar was then hidden behind the windows application bar.

Hope this helps someone!
