I wanted to move a component file that was used in one project to Assets (default) so it would be a global asset for all the projects.
I only see the option to move the file between projects but not to Assets.
I see that I can create a new Project called XAssets and use it as a replacement for the Assets project that comes as a default but then I need to do user management all the time.
I would appreciate if someone can help me where I might be missing something or this is an intentional behavior as it seems and I need to reupload the file to Assets and replace the component in the project and delete the component in the project.

I also uploaded the component file to Assets and created a subfolder later.
I don't see the option to move the file to the subfolder of the Assets as well. I think this is a bug.
