How to model stiffness of a linear guide/block for FEA

Hello

I am designing a machine that uses several linear guides/blocks. The data sheet of the linear guide manufacturer has given the stiffness value of bearings. How do I incorporate this value in fusion360 so it can be used in stiffness calculations of the whole machine using FEA?

Thanks

P

Hi @manusha19802 . Welcome to the Fusion forum.

Fusion simulation does not have any method for entering the known stiffness of components. Unless you can simulate the stiffness by modeling a "block" that gives the same stiffness, my suggestion would be to use Autodesk Inventor Nastran which has much more capabilities (such as springs where you can enter the known stiffness).
