Whenever I select the wireframe visual style, the edges of the object become too faint. Here's a side-by-side of my wireframe view vs. a friend's with the same object:

Try comparing the Graphics from the preferences with your friend from here and see if there was any difference between you two :
Also, from the Help Menu>Support and diagnostics>Graphic diagnostics, check if the optimize performance box is checked and uncheck it, it might help :
A final thing that comes to mind, select the body from the browser and right-click>Display Detail Control, then set it to Fixed>High.
