How to draw pattern on strap?

Hi all😃, currently I am working on a fitness wristband design project.

However, I could not find a way to draw the repeated pattern on the strap.

I tried to apply the relief pattern in appearance under RENDER mode, but it is just a 'sticker' for rendering that cannot be manufactured.

Is there a method that can extrude the pattern on the strap directly under DESIGN mode? so I can manufacture it / 3D print it out with pattern on strap directly. Please also let me know if there is no such way in Fusion 360🙏.

The attachment 1 is similar to the effect I want.

I saw a picture (attachment 2) from Autodesk with similar effect, but I wonder if it is just a rendered relief pattern.

Yes it can be done, limited to arcs, (not splines band shape)

using unfold

pattern the cuts and

refold in Sheet metal, would be the easiest.

Do you mean that if I use splines band shape, I cannot draw the pattern on it?

Part of the shape of my strap was made by LOFT since the thickness is uneven (become thicker close to screen body). I could not unfold the strap. I wonder if they are splines band shape🤔?

Its a workaround, simulate the band with a partial cylinder, 

follow the fold and refold routines to make the band you want whilst flat, (Pattern cuts, sweep cuts, etc.) when done refold it.

You can add more / taper thickness after refold.
