Thermal Sim

Hi there,
I am a design engineering student currently designing a product which heats up and cools areas of the legs to achieve enhanced recovery in athletes. I am currently trying (and failing) to use fusion thermal simulation software to simulate the effect (heat flow around the legs and temperature difference) of two copper plates placed on the legs at constant temperature 45 degrees C (photo attached).
I am having great difficulty trying to get this sim to run and I feel the software isn't really made for human testing. Does anyone have any advice on how to get this running or a suggestion of another, more suitable software I could use?
Thanks a lot for any replies.thermal sim.PNG

Hi @Anonymous  (if that is your real name 😉)

Here are my suggestions:

  1. Post your message to the Fusion 360 forum. Readers of the Simulation Mechanical (that's a software for performing finite element analysis, but is different from Fusion) will not be able to help you with your Fusion question.
  2. Have you done any of the Fusion heat transfer tutorials?
  3. Provide specific details about your question and problems. Your image is not even from the simulation environment, so readers have no idea what you have done or what problems you are encountering.

Good luck.
