How to dimension/constrain slot depth

I have created two slots both slots have a through slot and a counterbore that goes halfway through.

I have dimensioned and contrained the slots in the xy plane.  but not the depth...

I want to tell the slot to go half way through the part and all the way through the part so I can change depth and the slots will adjust....

I believe you can do this when you created the slot but where/how to I change they absolute depth to a relative depth????

Hopefully I donot have to start over again???

Not totally sure this is what you want but I will give it a shot.  If not, please clarify what you do want.  Model is attached.

You can do this all sorts of ways.  one way would be using equations to drive your extrudes.  my perferd methoid is to put the information in a sketch, and then use "extrude to" in the extrude features, this way everything is visual.  here's a simple example.  Here  the depth of the counter bore is always 1/2 the total extrude, which is defined with the sketch, not the extrude feature.  pretty easy to find where to make changes when you do it this way.  (especially a year from now when you aren't familiar with the model)

Thanks for reponses

To clarify I created a loft in which I then extruded the slots...

So I dont have a sketch to modify to adjust the heights and types of slots like (through all).

I really wanted a sketch in the xz or yz plane that I can dimension etc...

I discovered I have a Construction Plane that i can edit it allows me to change the height of the loft....and is kinda like a sketch

I can change the slot extrusions by editing them....

I would like to have a sketch for verification and documentation   Just dont know how to get a there

Attach what you have done so we can take a look at your process for "clarity".  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Okay so I have a sketch of the slot section and I am dimensioning it...

The counterbore slot depth is specified in the extrude command, so in the sketch it becomes a driven dimension....

What I would like is to have this slot section depth to be the driving dimension for the extrude...that way the slot depth changed just like all other dimensions....

Cant seem to make this happen???

hmmm..just to check, is the behavior shown in this screen cast, and shown by @g-andresen what your looking for? (ie, the slot counterbore depth is always half the thickness)-

No in this instance i want to set a through slot (got that)...and the wider slot at a fixed (but changeable sketch changeable dimension)

That will allow me to play with my tolerances when i fit the part to the mating part.
